The Manda Centre Counsellors work within a safe and confidential environment.
They bring a wealth of experience, both to the client (Service User) and the Centre.

FREEDOM PROGRAMME

The Freedom Programme takes place on a Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm and is run over a 12 week period.

“The Freedom Programme”

The Manda Centre has introduced the “Freedom Programme” which is revised and based on Living with the Dominator by Pat Craven. This Peer Support Course has been established after it was identified that a number of women we support have been subjected to a wide range of domineering, dominating and abusive relationships. The course is specifically for the women we support and is aimed to empower them and take back Responsibility for Themselves. The course runs over a 12 week period and takes place on a Wednesday evening each week.

The Safetime peer support project

The Safetime group is now meeting back on premises every second Friday from 11am - 1pm.

“The Safetime Peer Support Group”

The Manda Centre Safetime Project is a Peer Support Group specifically for those who are recognized as Survivors of Murder – “Misunderstood Grievers “. The group meets on a regular basis on every 2nd Friday and is facilitated by survivors of murder. This helps with the unique perspective and understanding and also the experiential base when discussing the phenomenon of bereavement from murder.
